League Constitution

The league constitution (rule book) is published on the site under Constitution in the navigation bar (/docs/constitution/). Commissioners edit it from Commissioner → League Constitution.

How Versions Work

Every save publishes a brand-new version and makes it the current rule book. Older versions are never changed or deleted:

  • Members always see the current version on the Constitution page.
  • Every past version stays viewable from the version history.

So you can always see exactly what the rules said at any point.

Publishing a New Version

  1. Go to Commissioner → League Constitution. The editor opens with the current rule book's text.
  2. Set the Title (e.g. 2026 Rule Book) and the Effective date.
  3. Edit the text. It's written in Markdown:
  4. # for headings
  5. **bold**
  6. - for lists
  7. tables

There's a Markdown reference link above the editor. Headings automatically build the table of contents on the Constitution page. 4. Click Publish New Version.

You're taken to the Constitution page, which now shows your version.

Viewing Past Versions

  • The editor page lists Past Versions, with the current one marked.
  • Members can browse the history from the Constitution page as well.

Tips

  • Update the title and effective date every time, so the history reads clearly.
  • Approved rule proposals usually go into the next season's version. See Rule Proposals.
  • There's no "save draft". Saving publishes immediately, so write big changes somewhere else first.
