Events & Contests
Events are optional league competitions that run alongside the main fantasy season. They can count toward draft order or be purely for fun. The Events page shows all current and past events along with season standings.
Event Types
NFL Draft Predictions
Before the NFL Draft, managers predict what will happen at a set of draft picks — typically the first round or key positions.
How to submit:
- Go to Events and open the active NFL Draft Predictions event.
- For each pick listed, enter your prediction for the player or position selected.
- Submit before the deadline. You can update your picks until picks close.
Scoring:
- Correct position (e.g., predicted WR, actual pick was WR) — partial credit
- Correct player — full credit (commissioner sets the exact point values)
Results are entered by the commissioner after the draft and scores are awarded automatically.
Squares
Squares is the classic football grid game played during a big game (typically the Super Bowl or a playoff game).
How it works:
- A 10×10 grid is displayed with 100 squares.
- You claim squares by clicking them. Both axes are always numbered 0–9 (home team score last digit across the top, away team score last digit down the side).
- At the end of each quarter, the square matching the last digit of both teams' scores wins that quarter's pot.
Claiming squares: Open the event and click any unclaimed square to claim it. You can claim multiple squares. Claims may be limited by the commissioner.
Winning: The commissioner enters quarter scores after each quarter. The grid highlights the winning square for each quarter automatically.
Manual Points
Some events award points directly — for example, a trivia game at the draft or a side bet. The commissioner awards points and they appear in event standings. No submission is needed from managers.
Season Standings
The Events page shows a standings table that sums each manager's points across all events in the season. These standings can be used to determine draft order bonuses or are simply tracked for bragging rights, depending on what the commissioner configured.
Submitting After the Deadline
Once a submission deadline passes, your entry is locked and cannot be changed. Check the event detail page for the deadline before you plan to submit.
