Events & Contests

Events are league competitions that run alongside the fantasy season. They can count toward next year's draft order or just be for fun. The Events page shows every event for the season and the event standings.

Event Types

NFL Draft Predictions

Before the NFL Draft, managers predict what happens at a set of draft picks.

How to submit:

1. Go to Events and open the NFL Draft Predictions event.
2. For each listed pick, enter the position you think will be taken, and the player if you want to go for the bonus.
3. Submit before the deadline. You can change your picks until submissions close.

Scoring: for each pick you get one of the following, whichever is higher, not both:

• Correct player: full points.
• Correct position: partial points.

The commissioner sets both point values when creating the event. The defaults are 3 for the correct player and 1 for the correct position. After the draft, the commissioner enters the actual picks and everyone is scored automatically.

Playoff Pick 'em

Managers pick the winner of each NFL playoff game, round by round.

• You get points for every correct pick, plus a bonus for picking the Super Bowl winner.
• The commissioner enters the actual results after each round.
• There's only one Playoff Pick 'em per season.

Prop Bets

The commissioner writes custom questions, each worth its own points, such as first touchdown scorer or the halftime show's opening song.

• Answer every question before the deadline.
• After the event, the commissioner enters the correct answers and submissions are scored automatically.

Squares

The classic football grid game, played during a big game such as the Super Bowl.

How it works:

1. A 10×10 grid shows 100 squares.
2. Click unclaimed squares to claim them. The commissioner can limit how many squares each manager gets (5 by default).
3. Both axes are numbered 0–9. One axis is the last digit of the home team's score, the other is the away team's.
4. At the end of each quarter, the square matching the last digit of both scores wins that quarter.

The commissioner enters the score after each quarter, and the grid highlights the winning squares automatically.

Manual Points

Some events award points directly, like a trivia game at the draft or an in-person contest. The commissioner enters each manager's points. There's nothing for managers to submit.

Season Standings

The Events standings add up points from every event that counts toward draft order. Events that are just for fun don't count toward the standings.

Each counting event adds to the standings in one of two ways, chosen by the commissioner:

Deadlines

Once an event's submission deadline passes, or the commissioner locks submissions, entries can't be changed. Check the event page for its deadline.

For Commissioners

• Create an event: Events → New Event, then choose a type. You can mark whether it counts toward draft order and choose the standings mode.
• Grade and edit from each event's page.
• Money for events, such as squares buy-ins or prop bet pots, is tracked in Treasury & Dues as a side bet.
