For All Members
Rule Proposals
The Rule Proposals system lets any league member formally propose a rule change. Proposals are discussed and voted on at the annual draft.
Submitting a Proposal
- Go to Rule Proposals in the League menu.
- Click Propose a Rule.
- Fill in a title (keep it short and specific) and a description (explain the change and why you're proposing it).
- Submit the proposal.
Your proposal will appear in the list for the current season with a status of Pending.
Proposal Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Submitted and awaiting review/vote |
| Approved | Voted in — takes effect next season |
| Rejected | Voted down — will not be implemented |
| Tabled | Deferred for discussion in a future season |
Filtering the List
You can filter proposals by season and status using the controls at the top of the page. To see all historical proposals, set season to "All" and status to "All."
The Vote
Proposals are typically reviewed and voted on at the annual draft. The commissioner updates the status of each proposal based on the outcome.
- Approved proposals become part of the league rules the following season.
- Rejected proposals can be re-submitted in a future season if you still believe in the change.
- Tabled proposals are set aside but not rejected — the commissioner may revisit them.
Tips for a Strong Proposal
- Be specific about what changes and what stays the same.
- Explain the problem you're solving, not just the solution.
- If there are edge cases, address them in the description.
- Short, clear proposals are easier to vote on than long, complex ones.
