Push Notifications
The Push Notifications page at Commissioner → Push Notifications sends a notification to league members' phones through the EMFFL mobile app. Only superusers can open it.
Who Can Receive Them
A member only receives push notifications if they:
- are marked Active in Manager Accounts, and
- have opened the EMFFL mobile app and allowed notifications, which registers their device.
Members without a registered device don't get anything. The page tells you when a send reached nobody.
Sending a Notification
- Enter a Title and a Message. Both are required.
- Optionally choose a Destination: the screen in the app that opens when the notification is tapped. Choices include:
- Home
- Events
- Survivor Pool or NFL Team Survivor
- Power Rankings
- Live Leaderboard
- Trash Talk
- Treasury
- Rule Proposals
- Select the recipients.
- Click Send.
Testing First
Click Send Test to send the notification only to your own devices. Check that it looks right before sending it to the league. You need the mobile app installed with notifications enabled on your own account.
History
The page lists the last 20 notifications sent: title, message, destination, sender and recipient count.
