Survivor Pool

EMFFL runs two survivor formats: NFL Team Survivor and Score Survivor. Both are last-manager-standing competitions.

NFL Team Survivor

Each week you pick one NFL team to win its game. If your team wins, you survive. If it loses, you're out. The catch: you can't pick the same team twice in a season.

Making Your Pick

1. Go to Survivor in the League menu.
2. Open the current season's pool.
3. Click Make My Pick and choose an NFL team.
4. Teams you've already used are marked and can't be picked again.
5. You can change your pick as many times as you like until picks are locked.

When Picks Lock and Open

• Picks lock when the commissioner locks them, normally before the first game of the week. Once locked, nobody can pick or change.
• Picks reopen automatically once Sleeper finalizes the previous week's scores, usually Tuesday after Monday Night Football.

Don't wait for kickoff: get your pick in before the commissioner locks the week.

After Results Are Entered

Once the commissioner enters a win or loss for every team picked that week:

• Managers whose team won advance.
• Managers whose team lost are eliminated.
• Managers who didn't pick are eliminated.
• Each week's picks and eliminations appear in the pool's history.

Winning

The last manager standing wins. If more than one manager is still alive when the pool ends, the commissioner decides between co-winners and a tiebreaker.

Strategy Notes

• Save strong teams for later weeks when good picks are harder to find.
• Early-season upsets are a trap. A win is a win, but one upset ends your run.

Score Survivor

Score Survivor is automatic. You don't make any picks.

How it works: each regular-season week, the manager with the lowest fantasy score in the league is eliminated. It continues until one manager is left.

• Scoring low in your own matchup doesn't matter, as long as someone else scored even lower.
• If two or more managers tie for the lowest score, all of them are eliminated.

Score Survivor results are available for every season, including the 2018 Yahoo season and the 2015–2017 ESPN seasons. Open them from the Survivor page.

Missed a Pick?

If you don't have a pick in when the commissioner enters results, you're eliminated from NFL Team Survivor. There are no exceptions, so set a reminder.

For Commissioners

• Create a pool: Survivor → Setup. Pick the season and every manager in that season's league is entered automatically.
• Each week, on the pool page:
• Lock picks before the first game.
• Enter Results after the games.
• Advance to the next week. Advancing locks picks, and they reopen automatically once Sleeper finalizes the scores.
• Unlock reopens picks manually if you need to.
